1. Who We Are

The “Launch Countdown” service is provided by Gabriele Alessandro, an individual operating under the trade name “Launch Countdown” (hereinafter “we”). By using the site or the app you enter into a contract with Gabriele Alessandro.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or continuing to use the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the service. You confirm you have the legal age to contract and, if acting on behalf of an organization, that you have the authority to bind it.

3. The Service

Launch Countdown displays information about space launches (countdowns, mission data, an interactive globe, a trajectory simulator and notifications) processed from public third-party sources. Core features are free; financial support unlocks optional Pro extras. Content is for informational and educational purposes: we do not guarantee the accuracy of times, telemetry or simulations, and it must not be used for operational, professional or safety-critical purposes. We are not affiliated with NASA or any other space agency or operator.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date, safeguard your login credentials, and are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Prohibited Use

• ▸ Unlawful use or use contrary to applicable regulations.
• ▸ Fraud, spam, sending unsolicited communications, creating fake accounts.
• ▸ Infringement of intellectual property or other third-party rights.
• ▸ Interfering with security: malware, intrusion attempts, port scanning, mass scraping, bypassing technical or quota limits.
• ▸ Reverse engineering, resale or redistribution of the service.

6. License and Intellectual Property

The service, software, design, trademark and documentation remain the property of Gabriele Alessandro or their respective licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service within the limits of your chosen plan. No other rights are granted. Images and data from third-party sources remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Service Level

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor the availability of third-party APIs that supply the data. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Support, Payments and Subscriptions

No payment system is currently active on the site: Pro extras and subscriptions cannot be purchased and no charge is issued. All core features are free. If we enable a payment provider in the future, we will update these terms and the payment, invoicing, tax, cancellation and refund conditions before any charge. See also our refund policy.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access in case of material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risks, or repeated or serious violations of the usage rules. You can close your account at any time from the Account page. Upon termination, account data is deleted or anonymized in accordance with the privacy policy; already-paid Pro extras remain active until the end of the period, unless terminated for abuse.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the 12 months preceding the event. Indirect, consequential or special damages are excluded, including loss of profit, data or reputation. Nothing excludes liability for willful misconduct, fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the service or breach of these terms.

12. Changes, Governing Law and Jurisdiction

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site. You may not assign the contract without our consent; we may assign it in case of reorganization or transfer of business. We are not liable for force majeure events. These terms are governed by Italian law, with jurisdiction of the Italian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
